1st Acting Audition

       In lieu of my last post I am going to audition tonight for a sitcom (most likely just a campus show).  I always call myself an actress so why not at least try and audition. I believe I might suck big time, but I am very confident about any result right now. That may change once I get into the room and see the turn out. I have mixed feelings on what I expect and want the turnout to be. I want there to be a lot of people so I if I do get the role it will boost my ego. I want there to be a little bit of people so it will boost my confidence and take away my nerves.
       Am i prepared? Probably not. I do not have any head shots(I emailed and asked if I should bring anything and they did not mention that). I also do not get a script or character synopsis because it is just going to be a dry run through of the script. So I have no clue on what my character is like.
       Do I want support from my friends? Yes.
       Do I want my friends to be there to support me? Yes... No. I want them there to record me. The thought of them being there however has my heart racing.

The sitcom seems very fun and exciting I want to do my best and be apart of it.


I think we all know what character I am going out for.... Kevin C. obviously lol. 

   Any of you who have opportunities to try new things out that you want to try out. Go for it!! You might be a natural at it, become a star, or figure out new things that you're passionate about !. Let me know if you have any new things coming up. I am excited in you and believe in you. Even if you realize you suck the experience will be one you won't forget and most likely be fun.

God is stretching me, and I am trusting Him.

Last year I had the opportunity to go to the Dominican Republic to be a part of the One Nation One Day missions team. Even though I joined the team late I was super pumped for it and excited for the chance to help. I trusted that it was a desire given to me by God to go, however I didn't trust that He would get me there. Knowing how impossible and overwhelming the deadlines and goals seemed I was saying "With God anything is possible.." I did believe the statements, however I  didn't believe that He would do that for ME in those moments. So I tried my hardest to control the flow of money that I would receive (I honestly wanted to be my own sole provider). It was a complete failure. Jesus Allowed Me to be Mauled by Ants

          Towards the end of February after dinner a group of friends and I walked to the lake which is right across from our campus. This is something that we do often, just to prolong going back inside to studies and our schedules. Well this trip was very short lived for me. When I got to the section by the lake which is covered in grass (besides the sidewalk), I stood in awe at the lake like normal. However, this time my reverie for God's creation didn't last long. Within thirty seconds of me standing there I began to feel like my foot was getting bit and poked hundreds of times at once. When I looked down I was able to see that my entire foot was covered with ants. The pain of course then became more severe. I instantly started screaming bloody murder and ran across the street without one of my flip flops.  I didn't even look both ways before I crossed the street!
